Francis Spoelstra, geboren in 1956 te Den Haag, getrouwd en woonachtig in Leiden.<\/p>\n

Opgroeien in een niet functionerend gezin onder onveilige omstandigheden zorgde al jong voor de vaardigheid om mensen te “lezen”.\u00a0 Vervolgens ontstond de behoefte om menselijk gedrag te doorgronden en te verklaren. Vandaar dat studie psychologie een fascinerende hobby werd.<\/p>\n

\"Relatietherapeut<\/p>\n

Je kunt een paar grote steden vullen met mensen die negatieve bagage met zich meedragen.\u00a0 Er zitten echter grote verschillen in de mate waarin dat gevoeld wordt. Bij dezelfde bagage zie je bijvoorbeeld verschillend effect op gedrag en gevoel van welzijn. Het gaat dus niet alleen om de bagage zelf maar vooral om de impact die het heeft.\"traumaNet als ieder ander met vergelijkbare bagage kreeg ook ik te maken met de bijbehorende valkuilen. Nadat ik daar succesvol mee had afgerekend kreeg\u00a0 ik dus vanuit persoonlijke ervaring extra\u00a0 inzichten.\u00a0 Vervolgens werd ik enthousiast om anderen met mijn kennis, inzichten en vaardigheden te helpen.<\/p>\n

De stap om als psycholoog en relatietherapeut aan de slag te gaan was klein. De aanvullende opleiding tot mediator gaf mij extra inzichten die van pas komen als relatietherapeut. Inmiddels ben ik 26 jaar professioneel met gedrag en relaties bezig waarvan 6 voor het bedrijfsleven.<\/p>\n

Ter ontspanning tijdens mijn\u00a0 zoektocht naar emotionele vrijheid mocht ik graag hardlopen en volbracht ik vele marathons<\/a>.
\nAls gevolg van de hardloopsport, en het zo nu en dan tegen mijn grenzen aanlopen, kreeg ik belangstelling voor voeding en voedingswaarde.
